Here is a promo for the Patagonia Store at Heavenly. This was shot by Dane Henry and myself , and I put together the edit. This was an exciting shoot, as it marked the first time Dane and I have shot completely on DSLR’s. As the new trend in the industry, the Canon 5D mkII and the Canon 7D are being used on more and more for commercial shoots. These cameras produce an amazing image, especially in low light situations. Also, adding the flexibility to shoot HD video and high res still images with the same camera is very rewarding. Not a single light was used for this shoot, simple amazing.
This is a promo I shot and Edited for Zephyr Cove Resort, located on the east shore of Lake Tahoe, NV. This promo will be featured on Zephyr Cove’s website, and will also air on the TV show “Another Heavenly Morning”. I had a great day out shooting with the shows Senior Producer Fred Wymore. We got to go on a snowmobile ride to the “bench” which over looks the entire east shore of Lake Tahoe. This is a really cool vantage point, it really shows how long the lake is. After the snowmobile tour, Fred and I cruised around the resort and shot the MS Dixie.
This was a great shoot, something a little different than the usual. I tagged along as Dane Henry’s grip, and shot some behind the scenes footage for photographer Colin Vincent. Dane and I headed up to the North Shore to meet up with Colin. Colin was shooting the new line of fleece wear from “Fleece-a-Nista”, designed by Jeane F.
