Fuel TV – UFC Unrestricted

This past summer I worked on an hour long documentary, which takes a behind the scenes look at the UFC. The DLP Entertainment crew was on hand for UFC 148, which was considered one of the most highly anticipated fights in UFC history. The MGM Grand Garden Arena was packed to capacity with fans awaiting the rematch between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen.

DLP Entertainment brought in a 30 person crew to cover the event, with so many moving parts the crew was spread out all over the city. The story crews shot on varicams and followed all the main characters, everyone from UFC Presidient Dana White to MMA star Anderson Silva. I was part of the specialty camera crew, tasked with shooting interesting B-Roll and transitional elements for the show. I shot on a canon 5dmkII with a variety of canon L series lenses and a cinevate dolly for moving shots. As always the it was a blast hanging out with the DLP crew!
