Fleece-a-Nista – Fashion Photo & Video Shoot

This was a great shoot, something a little different than the usual. I tagged along as Dane Henry’s grip, and shot some behind the scenes footage for photographer Colin Vincent. Dane and I headed up to the North Shore to meet up with Colin. Colin was shooting the new line of fleece wear from “Fleece-a-Nista”, designed by Jeane F. Colin is a very talented photographer, and also a really nice guy. You can check some more of his work at his web site colinvincent.com .

Photo – “Sunday in the Park”

Was up in the Powderbowl Terrain Park at Heavenly shooting some video and stills. This is Kyle Smaine, a local up and coming skier. I don’t think “bad shot” is in Kyle’s vocabulary, he is honestly a photographer’s dream to work with. Check out the video action from the day Here.

Killebrew Canyon Location Scouting

With help once again from Heavenly’s Ski Patrol, Dane Henry and myself got a personal guided tour through Killebrew Canyon. Armed again with two cameras, Dane shot the wide shot from the promise lands, and I grabbed the tights from below the fingers. Even though we captured some killer video, this was ultimately a scouting for future shoots in the canyon.

Happy Holidays

I went out this morning and shot a couple of clips, and played in the new snow. It’s looking like the holidays are going to be good around here in Tahoe. My friend and ski patrol Brendan Mcgraw joined me for a run, and helped me grab a couple of ski shots.

McCall Winter Broadcast Spot

Here is a 30 second TV broadcast spot produced for a local reality company here in South Lake Tahoe. The spot will be airing in the northern Nevada and local markets. Dane produced this spot from our library of stock footage, which will soon be available at a new site were working on. This is the first in a series of commercials for McCall Reality, look out for more coming soon.

Mott Canyon

With the opening of Mott canyon, some of Heavenly’s steepest terrain, Dane Henry and myself headed out to make some turns and capture some frames. Escorted by ski patrol, Dane, myself, and two models headed out to the canyons an hour before the general public. This was another two camera shoot, Dane shot all the wide shots from across the canyon, and I shot the tights. Special thanks to Eric Burkholm, Heavenly ski patrol snow safety director for helping us get to the location.
